Cashout not approved or account restricted
Ask the operator for the specific outstanding review, document or rule. Keep that reason and the formal complaint response in the file.
Europe · Complaint routes
Start with the operator and account involved, then choose the complaint route that covers them. Your country, a euro balance or an English-language site does not by itself identify the body that can handle the dispute.
Keep the casino's formal complaint, its written answer and any transfer evidence together. An independent complaint body may need the first two; a bank tracing an already-sent payout needs the transfer record.
| Route | When it may fit | What comes first |
|---|---|---|
| UK business's named ADR provider | A transaction dispute within that provider's scope for the business involved | Use the business's complaint procedure; after eight weeks an unresolved complaint may go to ADR, or follow its earlier deadlock instructions |
| Malta Gaming Authority complaint form | A complaint concerning an MGA-licensed operator | MGA strongly recommends seeking a solution through the operator's support or management first |
| France's gambling mediator | A contract with an ANJ-approved online operator or an exclusive-rights operator such as FDJ or PMU | Complain to the operator; an unsatisfactory answer or no answer within 20 days can lead to mediation |
| Another operator or country procedure | The route actually identified for that account and dispute | Read the operator's complaint instructions and confirm the body's scope before submitting |
A country label in a player story cannot establish which of these routes covers your own casino account.
Save the exact website address, operator name shown in your account terms and complaint contact. Record which account and transaction are in dispute. Similar brand names, related domains or a familiar payment processor can belong to different records.
Read the complaint procedure tied to that account. Look for the formal complaint address or form, the business's stated stages and any independent provider it names. If support gives you a different destination, ask it to explain which procedure applies and keep the reply.
Before supplying identity or financial documents to an outside body, confirm that its official channel covers the operator and the kind of dispute you have. A public discussion forum and an independent complaint form have different roles. Neither a forum badge nor a case involving another player establishes your eligibility.
The UK Gambling Commission's complaint guidance starts with the gambling business. Record the date the formal complaint was received and keep its acknowledgement. The business has eight weeks to resolve the complaint through its procedure.
If it remains unresolved after eight weeks, you may take it to the business's named Alternative Dispute Resolution provider. Ask for that provider's details. If the business reaches an earlier final position, keep any deadlock letter and follow the stated referral instructions.
The ADR provider decides whether the dispute falls within its scope. A complaint solely about customer service is different from a transaction dispute. Use the official UK ADR instructions to prepare the handoff, including your complaint and the business's answer.
The MGA complaint form is a formal channel for complaints concerning MGA-licensed operators. MGA strongly recommends trying the operator's support or management first. Keep those exchanges with your submission.
Prepare the casino's exact web address and operator name, account username, disputed amount, relevant dates and a concise account of the problem. The form accepts English or Maltese. State what you asked the operator to do and what remains unresolved.
Supply personal details through the official form rather than a public complaint post. The ability to submit a form does not promise a decision in your favour, payment or a particular response time.
France's ANJ directs players to complain to the operator first and keep copies of the exchanges. Its mediation route covers disputes arising from contracts with ANJ-approved online operators or exclusive-rights operators such as FDJ and PMU. Living in France does not automatically bring an offshore casino within that route.
An unsatisfactory operator answer, or no answer within 20 days of the complaint, can lead to the gambling mediator. You must be able to show the prior complaint. Use the ANJ mediation instructions and official handoff to find the mediator's current site.
A mediation proposal can be accepted or refused by the parties. Reporting a suspected practice to ANJ is a separate action; ANJ says its reporting channel does not obtain individual compensation. Choose the route that addresses your requested outcome.
Ask the operator for the specific outstanding review, document or rule. Keep that reason and the formal complaint response in the file.
Get the transfer reference, sending date and recipient details. Give them to the receiving provider and keep its answer alongside the casino's record.
Trace a sent payoutAsk which file, format or account detail failed. Keep the upload acknowledgement and the rejection reason before escalating a general complaint.
Resolve a document rejectionPreserve both dated replies and state the contradiction in one sentence. Ask the complaint handler to resolve that particular point.
| Reported case | What the record established | What to avoid assuming |
|---|---|---|
| Italian Spinmama document dispute | Public posts describe a partial payment while another amount remained outstanding. The moderator later recorded resolution, but the final player message was private | That the public record confirms the full amount received or proves that changing the PDF caused payment |
| Polish Ritzo account and passport dispute | A Ukrainian citizen resident in Poland disputed an account closure and a 1,370 PLN balance; the mediator rejected the complaint | That rejection confirms a payout or determines another account's eligibility |
| French Love casino bank-payout complaint | The player reported a €5,000 payment still pending; the case closed after the player stopped responding | That a non-response closure proves either bank receipt or deliberate withholding |
| French Opabet payment-method dispute | After conflicting payment-method and balance explanations, the operator reported processing the payment and the player directly confirmed receipt | That an intermediary's resolved label alone would provide the same receipt confirmation |
These are individual records. Their locations and outcomes do not create one European cashout policy.
Exact casino domain, operator name, account reference and the official complaint destination you have matched to it.
Specify the disputed withdrawal, deposit, balance or settlement and what you want corrected or explained. Keep amounts and currencies consistent.
Its submission date, acknowledgement, ticket number and the procedure used. Distinguish the formal complaint from earlier casual support chats.
Final reply, deadlock letter if relevant, or the dates showing the applicable procedure's response window. Do not apply one route's window to another.
Relevant cashier entries, document requests, terms and payment receipts. Explain what each supports. Keep originals private and redact copies intended for public discussion.
My formal complaint concerns this transaction and requested outcome. Please confirm the complaint reference and the procedure that applies to my account. If this is your final response, please state the reason and identify the independent route available for this dispute, including any referral document I need.
When submitting elsewhere, describe the failed step and attach the operator's answer. Explain which condition makes that route applicable. Keep the acknowledgement and respond to follow-up questions; a case closed because you stopped replying leaves the payment outcome unknown.
Use the complaint evidence guide to organise the chronology. If the player, operator and payment account are in different countries, use the cross-border complaint guide to identify which part of the dispute each contact can address.
Turn requests, replies and receipts into a readable chronology.
Match the requested file, upload receipt and remaining question.
Separate the operator decision from the receiving payment provider.
