A game counts at 0%
Its wagers add no progress. That does not, by itself, say the game is prohibited while the bonus is active. A separate exclusion rule may prohibit it.
Bonus maths
Game contribution is the percentage of a wager that counts toward a bonus's wagering target. At 10% contribution, a $5 bet adds $0.50 of progress. At 100%, it adds the full $5.
The percentage changes how the bonus counter moves. It does not change the size of your bet or the game's odds. The rates below are hypothetical examples.
Multiply the stake by the contribution rate: $5 × 10% = $0.50. The wager still costs $5 to place. A paying result does not make that original stake larger for this calculation.
When you play games with different rates, calculate their credited amounts separately and add them. In the example below, $300 of actual wagers produces $120 of bonus progress.
| Wagers placed | Contribution | Credited progress |
|---|---|---|
| $100 on game A | 100% | $100 |
| $200 on game B | 10% | $20 |
| $300 total | Mixed rates | $120 |
This measures progress toward a target, not the session's profit or loss.
Suppose $500 of credited wagering remains and every qualifying wager counts at 20%. You would need $500 ÷ 0.20 = $2,500 of actual stakes to clear that amount, assuming the rate stays unchanged and every wager qualifies.
That $2,500 is turnover, which can include winnings wagered again. It is not a required new deposit or a guaranteed loss. The wagering requirement sets the target; game contribution determines how much each stake reduces it.
Its wagers add no progress. That does not, by itself, say the game is prohibited while the bonus is active. A separate exclusion rule may prohibit it.
Its qualifying stakes count in full. That is not a statement about its RTP, house edge or whether this bonus is worth taking.
Use that promotion's contribution table and exclusions. A general casino table may not apply to the bonus you activated.
No. It means one tenth of a qualifying stake counts toward bonus wagering. Game payouts and any limit on bonus winnings are separate rules.
No. A multiplier such as 40x calculates the total target from a stated bonus or deposit base. A contribution rate such as 10% calculates the credit earned by each qualifying wager. Both can apply to the same promotion.
Work out the target before applying game weights.
Understand the expected cost of the stakes you place.
Compare contribution with the other terms of an offer.
