The balance is visible but not withdrawable
Check the recorded wagering progress, remaining requirement and deadline. A locked balance is different from a removal. Ask which requirement prevents conversion and how progress was calculated.
After a bonus deduction
Save the balance record and the casino's explanation before the bonus history changes. Find out whether the money was removed, remains locked behind an unfinished requirement or was reduced at conversion to cash. Those events need different calculations.
Then connect the deducted amount to the offer you accepted and the action the casino cites. A general reference to bonus terms leaves the central question unanswered: which rule, which recorded action and which amount?
Check the recorded wagering progress, remaining requirement and deadline. A locked balance is different from a removal. Ask which requirement prevents conversion and how progress was calculated.
Check the conversion or maximum-cashout condition. Ask for the bonus-derived amount, applied cap and resulting cash amount. Confirm the treatment of any separate cash balance.
Request the exact clause, the offer version and the specific game or round entries said to breach it. Compare the recorded stake and timing with that rule's definitions.
Request the triggering event and timestamp, including timezone, and the condition it applied. Do not try to explain an eligibility decision with wagering arithmetic alone.
Ask for a written breakdown of the before-and-after balances, removed amount and applied rule. Preserve the current view and the support answer before attempting any account change.
Keep the offer, its terms and acceptance time. Record the wagering base, multiplier, contribution rates, maximum stake, expiry and conversion condition relevant to the dispute. A current terms page may have changed since acceptance.
Retain game and round references, timestamps, recorded stakes and bonus progress. Include the entry before and after the disputed action so the calculation can be checked.
Identify the amount removed, the affected bonus or cash balance and the time of the change. A disappearing bonus banner alone does not provide that breakdown.
Keep the written reason and connect it to the recorded action. If support supplies only a clause heading, ask which entry triggered it and how the removed amount follows from it.
A multiplier may apply to the bonus alone or to the deposit plus bonus. A game may contribute all, part or none of its stakes. Those definitions change the result even when the amount actually wagered is identical.
Stake's deposit-bonus help illustrates a deposit-plus-bonus requirement and says the requirement can vary with the affiliation or bonus type. Read your accepted offer rather than copying another offer's multiplier or base.
Recalculate the existing record under the applicable conditions. The examples below show how to check a deduction; they are not a current casino offer or a recommendation to keep playing to recover the money.
| Recorded activity | Stakes | Contribution | Qualifying turnover |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fully contributing games | 600 | 100% | 600 |
| Partially contributing games | 500 | 20% | 100 |
| Total | 1,100 | Depends on each game | 700 |
Under these assumptions, 300 remains outstanding: 1,000 minus 700. The 1,100 units staked do not establish completion. If the actual offer uses deposit plus bonus or different game rates, this example does not determine its result.
| Stipulated condition | Recorded amount | Arithmetic | What still needs checking |
|---|---|---|---|
| Maximum permitted stake is 2 | A relevant recorded stake is 2.50 | The recorded stake exceeds 2 by 0.50 | What the rule counts as a stake, whether it applied at that time and what consequence it specifies |
| Bonus-only conversion cap is 100 | Bonus-derived balance is 280 | 180 exceeds the conversion cap | Whether the cap applies to that balance and how any separate cash amount is treated |
Finding a numerical difference does not by itself establish the authorised deduction. The applied clause, affected balance and stated consequence still have to match.
Request the game, round reference, timestamp and recorded amount. Read how the rule defines a stake, including any special treatment of feature purchases or combined actions. Do not assume a definition from another game or casino.
Check whether the bonus was active at the disputed time and whether the cited offer version contains the stated limit. If the figures do not match, point to the exact discrepancy. If they do match, ask how the terms determine the deduction and any remaining deposit balance; a match does not justify inventing a refund promise.
If the casino relies on terms that differ from the version you retained, keep both versions and the explanation. The changed-terms guide covers that separate dispute.
Provide its acceptance time and account reference privately. Attach the terms version you retained and say which condition you are disputing.
Request the cash amount, bonus-derived amount, removed amount and remaining amount before and after the decision. Keep an independent cash balance separate from a bonus conversion calculation.
For a betting reason, request the relevant bets and contribution calculation. For expiry or eligibility, request the event and timestamp used.
Ask for recalculation under the accepted conditions and correction of a demonstrated error. If the reason remains disputed, request a written decision that explains the rule and arithmetic.
Keep the complaint reference, full reply and any changed ledger entry. Reconcile an offered adjustment with the balance actually restored rather than relying on the promise alone.
Use the casino's complaint channel with the offer version, relevant records, deduction breakdown and precise unresolved question. A reviewer should be able to see whether the disagreement concerns the rule, the facts or the calculation.
Prepare a private evidence packet and redacted public copy if you seek outside review. Describe the documented deduction and the casino's stated reason. An unexplained removal deserves a specific challenge, but the missing explanation alone does not establish a particular legal remedy or guarantee a restored balance.
Completion answers the turnover condition. Check any separate conversion cap or cited offer condition and the balance breakdown. Do not assume that a completed progress bar proves the whole displayed bonus balance was cashable.
Only qualifying turnover counts under the offer's rates and exclusions. Recalculate the relevant stakes using those conditions. The total amount staked can be larger than the qualifying total.
Ask the casino for the version attached to the accepted offer and the specific clause it applied. Keep your acceptance record and current explanation. Mark the older terms as missing rather than presenting the current page as proof of what you accepted.
Before changing it, ask what cancellation would remove, what cash would remain and how any open withdrawal would be affected. Save the current record. A cancellation can change the balance being disputed, so do not assume it preserves the amount you want reviewed.
Identify the multiplier and the balance it applies to.
Distinguish stakes placed from qualifying turnover.
Check the stake definition before comparing a bet.
Review the conditions before they become part of play.
